Cathay Members can enjoy competitive prices, experience preferential service and earn 500 miles per qualifying rental with Budget.

How to Earn:

  1. Reserve the car on Budget website, contact our reservations through call centre or email. 
  2. Cathay member must ensure to provide Cathay member ID at time of booking of Budget car rental on Budget websites or all other channels.
  3. Miles will only be credited 6 to 8 weeks from date of rental.
  4. To take advantage of additional discounts or special offers, simply book on this website and quote your Cathay membership number when booking. 
     

 

  1. Cathay members can earn 500 miles per rental when booking via any of Budget websites directly or call centres.
  2. Self-drive rentals with van rentals, truck rentals, commercial vehicles and chauffeur-drive services do not qualify for Asia Miles. Miles cannot be earned on travel industry staff rates, replacement/insurance rates, selected association programmes, monthly rentals, award rentals and nett rate programmes.
  3. Miles can only be earned on one frequent flyer programme for each qualifying self-drive rental at participating locations.
  4. Cathay members will be eligible to earn miles only if the name in the rental agreement matches the name in the Cathay membership account.
  5. Renters can only claim miles for their own rentals, i.e. only one rental at a time.
  6. Consecutive or conjunctive rentals will not qualify for Asia Miles – only the first qualifying rental in such situations will be awarded Asia Miles.
  7. Always show your Cathay membership card when you pick up your vehicle.
  8. If any other BCD number is present in the rental booking, no bonus Asia Miles will be awarded.
  9. If any other BCD number is present in a customer’s Fastbreak profile and this is used in the rental booking, no bonus Asia Miles will be awarded and once booked, this cannot be reversed.
  10. Promotional miles or any additional miles cannot be retro claimed.
  11. Miles will only be credited into your account within 6 to 8 weeks after the completion of eligible car rental.
  12. Missing mileage claims must be made within 180 days of the conclusion of each qualifying rental.
  13. To claim missing miles, original Car Rental Agreement copy is required. Members are required to retain copies of these until Asia Miles are credited to members’ accounts.
  14. Renters must meet standard Budget age, driver and credit requirements.
  15. Offers may not be used in conjunction with any other discount, promotion or offer other than those valid on this website and are subject to availability.
  16. Cathay Pacific and Budget are not responsible for typographical errors or omissions.
